Froelich Park offers something for every season of life; from quiet walks and youth athletics to summer traditions, swimming pool, and community gatherings. Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning to a place filled with memories, the park provides opportunities to get outside, stay active, and spend meaningful time together.
GREEN SPACE
The park features wide-open spaces, perfect for relaxing, playing, or simply enjoying the outdoors: Whether you're tossing a ball, spreading out a blanket, or taking in the fresh air.
Amenities include several small picnic pavilions, benches, and a gazebo. The area is popular with people on their lunch breaks who use the tables or picnic on the grass. A pond and creek further enhance the natural setting.
WALKING PATHS
The park features a paved walking trail, over a mile in length, perfect for daily exercise, casual strolls, or finding a quiet moment in nature.
Resting benches are conveniently placed along the path. This space is open and welcoming to all members of the community.
ATHLETICS
Froelich Park is the hub for youth athletics, serving as the dedicated home for the Mountville Youth Athletic Association (MYAA) and the Mountville Swim Team. The fields support year-round activities for MYAA Baseball, Football, and Cheerleading, uniting families and spectators. These fields also host the annual Gainer-Race Memorial Softball Weekend Tournament. Complementing the outdoor spaces is a two-story field house. Finally, the outdoor pool provides a venue for the Mountville Swim Team.
SWIMMING POOL
Located right within Froelich Park, the pool offers summer fun for families, swim team experiences for youth, and a welcoming place to cool off, gather, and make lasting memories together. With features like the main swimming pool, kiddie pool with a mushroom fountain water feature, slide, diving boards, snack bar, seating areas, restrooms, two pavilions, on-site parking, and easy access off Route 30, Froelich Park & Pool is designed to make summer days simple, fun, and community-centered.
FIREWORKS
The Annual Fourth of July Fireworks bring families, neighbors, and friends together for a community tradition people look forward to year after year. From gathering at Froelich Park to enjoying the show with the people they love, this event continues to be one of the moments that makes summer in Mountville feel special.
EVENTS & RENTALS
Froelich Park & Pool offers space for community events, family gatherings, birthday parties, team celebrations, and local traditions, giving residents, families, and organizations a welcoming place to come together. With outdoor park areas, pool & pool pavilion rental, opportunities it is the perfect place to celebrate milestones, host group activities, and create memories with the people who matter most.
